On June 6th Metallica gives concert in Horsens. The concert takes place at Horsen’s new outdoor concert venue ‘The State Prison’ that previously housed the state penitentiary. Here Metallica will resurrect the band’s best selling album ‘Metallica’, better known as ‘The Black Album’.
On this occasion Michael Kvium has painted the motif for a concert poster that is offered for sale as official Metallica merchandise at the venue. The poster is a special edition of 1.000 copies only.
The collaboration between Michael Kvium and Metallica is facilitated by Nils Stærk through his long-standing friendship with the world famous band’s Danish drummer Lars Ulrich.
