The work Dactylograms by Runo Lagomarsino consist of 18 drawings that together makes a whole. The work is made with the artist finger; using ink, stamp pad and with his fingerprints create the imagetry, the text and the compositions. The fingerprint is both a way of saying: See me, I AM HERE, but at the same time pointing towards the many controls, borders, barriers and identifications systems where people are expelled, controlled, defined, or simply not allowed in. This kind of disturbance, by proposing approximations between different words, abstractions and symbols or by slightly changing characteristics of familiar elements in such a way that these moves hopefully creates new associations. Or else, the silence moves into the future.
