Fuglsang x Lea PorsagerFebruary 7, 2026 – September 13, 2026
Fuglsang Kunstmuseum, Guldborgsund, DKFuglsang x is an exhibition initiative on Fuglsang Kunstmuseum, where contemporary artists are invited to temporarily stage an exhibition hall with their own and others' works from the museum's collection.
The format adds new perspectives to the collection and opens up encounters between older and newer art.Visual artist Allan Otte initiated the series in 2024 as the first invited artist. Lea Porsager will follow in 2026, and another artist is planned to be included in the concept in 2027.
Based on his monumental sculpture GOOD GENERATOR – a cut-off windmill blade – Lea Porsager has chosen the sculpture as the focal point for the exhibition project. Fuglsang X Lea PorsagerWith the artist as curator, all of the museum's sculptures are gathered in one room, where Porsager's distinctive work naturally takes center stage. The artist's second windmill work, HOLYSPIRIT (2024), which is on loan for the exhibition, is made from worn-out windmill blades from the world's first offshore wind farm near Vindeby on Lolland.
Porsager's cut-off onshore wind turbine blade from 2020 measures 19 meters in total and was acquired for Fuglsang Kunstmuseum in 2022.
