Guatemalan artist Darío Escobar (born 1971) makes large-scale installations and sculptures constructed from sports equipment and mass-produced materials, which are informed by Guatamalan traditions. This book features 32 of his works in conversation with Museo Nacional de Arte de México’s historical Viceroyalty collection.
