In the exhibition Skyggeteater Michael Kvium invites the audience into a peculiar universe populated by 36 figurative performers. Painted across 17 years – from 2008-2025 – the works constitute a collected tableau of the shadow sides of the human being and a contemporary absurdity. In an image world that act as a theatre stage Kvium unfolds a critical, sensuous and reflective diagnose of our time.
