He is in the dark

bawls out nothing with a smile. He performs a show: On one leg

look! DO YOU WANT TO SEE

He conjures his day

how it looks

even before the day is thought. On one leg

look!

He continues and smells of the food he eats. DO YOU WANT TO SEE

He trots precariously on a tightrope across an invisible world

a bottomless swamp

By means of the umbrella in his hand

unfolded like a giant flower

he teeters

does not fall down into anything. Stays where he is!
